Our first installment

Here are some examples of the format to use when submitting an article.

While not listed here, another good blog worth reading is: http://blog.4president.org I was unable to use it as right now it’s all about Hillary.

1. Dobson says “no way” to McCain as he does not support traditional marriage.

2. Has a countdown to the the 2008 general election – 653 days

Jan 20 post -Did anyone notice Kansas Senator Sam Brownback announces his candidacy for President today because so did Senator Hillary Clinton?

Jan 15 post- Mitt Romney in a single day (telephone) fundraising blitz raised 6.5 million dollars

3.  Dec 21 post -Jay Sekulow the chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice founded by Pat Robertson has endorsed Mitt Romney.

4. polling data – Republican Primary Voters Jan 8-11 breakdown:

Giuliani 28%, \nMcCain 20%, Gingrich 14%, Romney 8%

“If Giuliani is not electable in a GOP Primary, then John McCain may be the biggest beneficiary of the Giuliani effort. McCain has long had a tense relationship with many GOP activists and conservatives. Without Giuliani in the mix, it is likely that a conservative challenger would gain traction in an anybody-but-McCain effort.”

5. first debates are set so mark your calendars:

CNN will cover New Hampshire April 4 and 5. The South Carolina \nDemocrat debate has been set for April 26.

6. “A self-described fiscal and social conservative, Brownback made headlines recently when he broke with President George W. Bush and came out against the president’s plan to send 20,000 more U.S. troops to Iraq and called for more diplomatic efforts.”

Dec 21 post -Jay Sekulow the chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice founded by Pat Robertson has endorsed Mitt Romney.http://redbluechristian.com

7. post Nov 16, 2006 – “If John McCain is elected president in 2008, he will become the oldest person to ever enter the office, at 72 years old.”

8. List of Exploratory Committees: They offer background information on the candidate, you can sign up for updates from the campaign and this will probably be the best place to find the most up to date list of endorsements. (Some sites are further along in their development than others.)

See Blogroll to right.

9. And then there is the rumor that Mike DeWine has been asked to chair the McCain campaign in Ohio. So far this is just a rumor.
