Democrat Voters for McCain

The lengthy Democratic primary contest bodes well for Republican chances of holding the White House, a new poll suggests.

Among Obama supporters, 20 percent said they would vote for Sen. John McCain of Arizona, the Republican nominee, if Clinton beats their candidate for the nomination. Among Clinton supporters, 19 percent said they would support McCain in November if Obama is the Democratic nominee.  Fred Lucas  3-21-2008

  1. I have to think people are caught up in the emotion of the primary season — I just can’t really see 20% of Democrats voting for a Republican.

    I know I am a day late and a dollar short on this one, but just had to comment any way.

    Looks like that the boding well for McCain did not bode so well after all.
