A 1992 Ron Paul newsletter article, under Ron Paul’s name was written*: “If you have ever been robbed by a black teenaged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be.’ Paul added: “I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city (Washington, D.C.) are semi-criminal or entirely criminal.”
*when confronted by the Texas Monthly magazine Ron Paul claimed that this was really written by one of his staffers, and had been convinced by them that he had to accept the responsibility for it “- I actually really wanted to try to explain that it doesn’t come from me directly, but campaign aides said that’s too confusing. ‘It appeared in your letter and your name was on that letter and therefore you have to live with it.’”

Since Ron Paul is clearly not a racist or bigot of any kind, and since these comments (which are not his own) are clearly not even racist or bigoted comments, but merely observations of facts – young black thieves ARE fleet-footed, admirably so, and the israel lobby IS one of the most powerful lobbies in D.C. – this must be more smear by those who resent liberty, property, equality, peace, and privacy and want more free stuff from our vast socialist government and more bombs dropped on innocents abroad. Pitiful.
